Sarah Martinez, a nurse from Denver, never expected to become our next big winner. But life had other plans.

How She Used Her Winnings Sarah's first priority was paying off the remainder of her mortgage—$45,000. "The relief of knowing my kids will always have a secure home is indescribable," she says.
The rest went into her children's college funds. "Education is everything. Now my kids have a head start I could never have given them otherwise."
